David Lingabee Songs & Songwriting

3. Calmly observing what’s in front of you

While calmly observing what is in front of you may seem rather simple, you will at some point realize there is an abundance of things right there in front of you to write songs about.

Inspiration can also suddenly occur while doing this simple observing, especially if you are willing to do it for extended periods of time.

Here is a video about how taking the time to observe can free you up from all sorts of things.

This video and the free online course offered under the video screen includes an insight into the above concept with a great exercise for observing the obvious, plus other related points of interest.

Conditional: It is not recommended you do any free online course or its exercises unless you have a genuine and willing interest in doing them, as you may not be accustomed to the level of personal participation they require of you.
