David Lingabee Songs & Songwriting

Song#: 14

Album
Name of Song: Within their sin

Swirling motion,
Inviting in,
Hoping for some sensation,
So hidden deep within.

A game of such temptation,
Seems better than my life,
They use these old old trappings,
To make me feel alright.

Pain and sexual wavelengths,
The telepathy I don’t see,
This aching feeling of want me now,
Suddenly the way to be.

I change myself so quickly,
Without a second thought,
So caught within their swirling sin,
Ignoring what I’ve been taught.

They do this so continually,
And I play along so well,
My inner urge becomes too strong,
Giving in to my own spell.

They’re very good at doing this,
And I never spot their sin,
So I settle for what I cannot see,
It calms what I have been.

A sad excuse for living,
A never ending tale,
An endless swirl of moving sin,
That hides a soulless veil.

To see what they are doing,
And look behind their lies,
Requires I become the calm,
And use my spirit eyes.

It takes some getting used to,
You have to slow down time,
By being very calm and still,
It’s a spiritual unwind.
