So many times
of dying blind,
I’m not a body,
I never was.

But I’ve become
A timed response,
Reacting to
what’s all around me.

I need to end
The cycle of death,
The cycle of time
for me.

Regaining self
Is what I do,
Beyond agreeing
with what feels normal.

A past so long,
We’ve become less strong,
And blind to what
Is our own being.

Looking back,
So many attacks,
Instead of simply
Being.

Every day,
I find a way
To separate
from simply human.

I don’t expect
You’ll understand,
You’d have to know
that you’re a spirit.

So simple that,
It goes right by,
The hurried life
that keeps us human.

I wish for you,
What you do want,
I’m only sharing
my learning.

I hope you try
To go on by
The usual life
that we call human.
