Song#: 8
Album 04) Living inside myself
Name of Song: Slave to a wave

Become this, become that,
Enslaving myself in all that crap.
The beauty of myself, a spirit,
I need to focus on that and clean it.
I should’ve never given in,
And never tried to solve the spin.
I now have gotten so used to,
Becoming other things and you.
I am at least looking way on back,
At when I fell into this sticky track.
A tiny wave became my friend,
Intended to drive me round the bend.
But here I am now figuring out,
How to get off this endless route.
I agreed to be more than myself,
Then I kept leaving me up on that shelf.
It’s not so hard to sort it out,
But sensation waves keep me about.
Their pleasure seems so hard to leave,
They interrupt what I want to achieve.
I know I seem to like the traps,
Although I know they’re really crap.
They feel so good, and it’s what I know,
When I try to stop I go too slow.
So here I am, this point in time,
My choice or not to make the climb.
It can be steep, it can be hard,
I’m salvaging me, and just in time.
The road is long, overwhelm all around,
Better to swim than slowly drown.
I now like to observe, calmly see what I see,
Simple answers appear, so much freer to be.
The road is long, overwhelm all around,
Better to swim than slowly drown.
I now like to observe, calmly see what I see,
Simple answers appear, so much freer to be.
