David Lingabee Songs & Songwriting

Song#: 6

Album
Name of Song: Life is not that hard to do

Different ways
you get locked in,
To another’s world
then lost within.

They use their mind
to hook your taste,
To what keeps you
in their embrace.

Why they’re doing
such desperate ways,
It’s all they know
to gain embrace.

Deeply lonely,
So insecure,
Afraid to lose
and won’t endure.

This describes
a common trap,
Covertly done
as you are tapped.

A common act,
This faking love,
Many losses
and pains thereof.

What do you do
to protect yourself,
Observe the obvious
and not much else.

Observe observe,
See what’s there,
Facts are facts
Ignore the dares.

Eventually
you’ll see what’s there,
Then you’ll know
to ignore the dares.

Resolve the difference
between you and mind,
Get more familiar
as you move through time.

It’s very personal
to separate out,
It takes some time
to learn about.

Knowing what
is really you,
A calming goal
for you to do.

Life is not
that hard to do,
Reclaim yourself,
Resolve with you.

Life is not
that hard to do,
Reclaim yourself,
Resolve with you.

Life is not
that hard to do,
Reclaim yourself,
Resolve with you.
