Ignoring what is, is not your true character,
And sadly never really gets you off the hook,
A being knows what is right and what is wrong,
And one’s karma will keep recording it in its book.

You can say you didn’t know,
Good for making things go slow.
You can loudly say, “oh no!”
Never alters what was so.

Although the memories seem to all want to ignore,
A shared agreement to not see, makes you hate who you are,
Then you wonder why your life becomes a bore.

But there is something even worse than us ignoring,
That evil being who takes advantage of this common urge,
He adds his own special brand of what you should now see,
You’re in his grasp, you wonder how, as you emerge.

You think to look the other way, makes it someone else’s,
You may even get  away with this for years,
Evil beings slyly blend when you’re not looking,
They will use this to cover what they engineer.
