David Lingabee Songs & Songwriting

Song#: 16

Album
Name of Song: I’m know I’m invisible

I know I’m invisible,
I know I am love,
I know I am peace,
I come from above.

I’m not something special,
I’m just who I am,
I like to have balance
and do what I can.

I’m not trying to convince you,
Nor feel you should change,
I’m just searching for solace
in a world that seems strange.

Looking and learning,
About things that I need,
I’m still in my body
and in things I agreed.

Slowly but surely,
I’m figuring it out,
My own glimpses of freedom
build more certainty than doubt.

I know I’m invisible,
I know I am love,
I know I am peace,
I come from above.

I’m not something special,
I’m just who I am,
I like to have balance
And do what I can.

I do have a worry,
That I’ll have enough time,
To separate out
before death ends my climb.

Understanding my body,
And how to keep it alive,
Is all part of freedom
and the goals I do strive.

My body is part of
a really long trap,
I must know all there is
before death’s final zap.

It’s never been done,
Before our last breath,
Win over time
and beat our own death.

I know I’m invisible,
I know I am love,
I know I am peace,
I come from above.

I’m not something special,
I’m just who I am,
I like to have balance
and do what I can.

I do have a worry,
That I’ll have enough time,
To separate out
before death ends my climb.

Understanding my body,
And how to keep it alive,
Is all part of freedom
and the goals I do strive.

My mind has a body,
And my body has a mind,
Understanding that mess
is all part of the climb.

I hope I can make it,
I’m intending that so,
Somewhat unknown
on this road I now go.

I have this idea
That we all know the truth,
That we’re really invisible,
as we pray for that sooth.
