Song#: 2

Album
Name of Song: I don’t like them!

People can always object to another,
For a simple fault they can suddenly perceive,
They then can stick on this fault and criticize this person,
Because they see all the harm it will now bring.

It’s uncomfortable to hold onto grudges,
It’s takes a lot of one’s attention to keep them alive,
What if there was a better way to deal with this,
And still retain your own integrity with who you are.

Chorus
Getting fixated on faults is sometimes just unavoidable,
It often challenges your integrity to keep intact,
What a surprise if that same fault was in your character,
And simply spotting it made you feel better about yourself.
______

There are endless faults that you can find in others,
But that’s a view you hold just with yourself,
And you can often find another to now agree with you,
This makes you righter than when you were on your own.

A contagion can occur about this sorta thing,
It depends how much you want to stop the fault,
If you can turn the tide and take a look into a mirror,
You may find the same or similar in yourself.

Chorus
Getting fixated on faults is sometimes just unavoidable,
It often challenges your integrity to keep intact,
What a surprise if that same fault was in your character,
And simply spotting it made you feel better about yourself.
______

This can be very hard to come to grips with,
Often because it’s not always easy to find your fault,
But if you know a fault got stirred within your being,
You have a way to calm it down and again be yourself.

This type of trigger plagues the being of every human,
No need to wonder about, deep down you know it’s true,
This is the conduit to how and why there’s constant turmoil,
But it’s so hard to face your faults each day anew.

Chorus
Getting fixated on faults is sometimes just unavoidable,
It often challenges your integrity to keep intact,
What a surprise if that same fault was in your character,
And simply spotting it made you feel better about yourself.
______

A closer look at faults usually implies a lessening integrity,
And then you start to get into your world of sins,
And if you don’t have a way of erasing their degrading potential,
You may find yourself feeling annoyed or in a spin.

Chorus
Getting fixated on faults is sometimes just unavoidable,
It often challenges your integrity to keep intact,
What a surprise if that same fault was in your character,
And simply spotting it made you feel better about yourself.
