Opposites in our time stream
Always there to stir
Our never ending conflicts
Leave us wondering if we were.

I treasure my own kindness,
So easy to forget,
Our urge to fall into a wave
That makes us feel in debt.

I really sometimes wonder,
Why did I fall from grace,
Sadly stuck in opposites,
That demand I must save face.

Here I am in my present,
I’ve learned to stay here more,
Where opposites don’t exist at all,
Remembering what I’m here for.

Choosing sides is endless,
And so the clasp of time,
Our present time is separate from
That false part of our climb.

Reasons to hate,
Urges to leave,
Do we really have to choose a side
To create a need to grieve.

Timeless we are,
Deathless so it seems,
There’s no such thing as choosing sides
When we can have our dreams.
