Song#: 2
Album 09) The Myth of good and bad
Name of Song: Am I good or bad?

Good or bad, right or wrong,
Responsibility has its own view,
As a child you tend to please and love,
You’re a child still learning to live.
Your body grows, you learn the ropes,
You begin to see and learn,
Your trust for those that are bigger than you,
Seems to go with the way you are.
Your mind develops as your body grows,
You start to figure out things for yourself,
With that comes change in how you view,
What is good or bad, right or wrong.
Some dare to think “outside the box”,
Some can’t, it’s way too much pain,
Some live their lives with the fixed ideas,
Of what they have been told.
Whether right or wrong, or good or bad,
Is your personal look at life,
Be willing to look at your current scene,
Make decisions that help the most.
Chorus
All these buttons to push, and triggers to pull,
They come out of pain and unconsciousness within,
The subject of whether you’re good or bad,
Often decided by where and with whom you live.
______
What’s right or wrong, or good or bad,
Has been around for years,
It’s really just a button to push,
So you’ll do what the other person wants.
These many laws and rules that you see in the world,
Make security an ever changing affair,
A simple way to stay out of this often violent human maze,
Just treat others the same as you would prefer.
When you get some time, write down your own moral code,
Then compare it to what you were taught,
You can then easily see what is right and wrong,
You’ll stop wondering whether you’re being good or being bad.
A being is natively self-determined and right,
Even if someone else thinks they are not,
Just because another feels that you’ve stepped out of line,
Is no reason to introvert, instead start observing.
Chorus
All these buttons to push and triggers to pull,
They come out of pain and unconsciousness within,
The subject of whether you’re good or bad,
Often decided by where and with whom you live.
